Authorities Seek Dark-Colored Wagon In Fatal Jersey City Hit-Run

A 62-year-old man was fatally struck by a car that fled the scene in Jersey City early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Investigators are looking for a dark-colored wagon similar to a Subaru Outback, which struck the man between Jefferson Avenue and Waverly Street just after 1:30 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

The victim was pronounce dead at 2:25 a.m. at Christ Hospital.
